At Ek Aasha Chhoti Si we tend to and care for a very vast variety of community and street animals from motherless pups of a few weeks to baby kitties not more than a few days old to old injured dogs, lactating mothers, to stray cattle, abandoned and condemned bulls, heat affected birds and so on - who were till we could reach them – were struggling to find food on their own due to the disruption of life during this extended lockdown.

We have put our best foot forward for the continued feeding of more than and intensive treatment of ailments, diseases and injuries, continued Animal Birth Control programs, immunization wherever required and so on and forth;

All this needs a continuous supply of funds to pay our pending medical and foster bills and to keep food supplies running.

If didn't pay our bills they will be back on roads. And It will be tough for them to survive on roads. We feed nearly 200 community dogs across 6-7 locations, about, birds at three different locations, nearly 50-60 bovines (stray or abandoned cattle/bulls) in 2 different locations across the entire Mayur Vihar, Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri, and Sanjay Lake areas in East Delhi.
These areas have been market-based where dogs rely on leftovers and garbage of stalls and restaurants for their survival and are mostly affected due to lockdown leading to starvation. Therefore, we need an adequate amount of food to fill their empty bellies and be with them in a time of crisis.

We request you all to be a part of this initiative and do contribute your bit to the needy! I have already gotten about 100 + dogs sterilized and I was aiming to get more but since the lockdown happened, everything came to a standstill. The number of unfed and starving animals keeps increasing by the day during this COVID crisis situation...
