The cost of sponsoring a single child and his/her education per year is Rs. 28,200. My aim is to generate funds to support at-least 10 children for a year.

The SOS Childrens' Villages India is an extremely well organised NGO who are devoted to the cause of helping children in need.
They also provide a good home as well as education to abandoned and parentless children, who are also the future of our country.

The idea to contribute and begin a fundraiser started when I received money on my birthday and I thought to share this with other children too. I recollected that my grandmother always said, "Serving a meal will get a child through a day, while education will help a child attain independence for life."

I have made a humble beginning by contributing Rs 15,000 on my birthday
to help these children get educated and to be on their own feet for life.
