Story

My name is Omkar Sheth, and I was fortunate to be selected as a delegate for Harvard University's Project for Asian and International Relations, 2022 (HPAIR) among 800 participants across the globe. HPAIR is a prestigious international conference to be held in Delhi from 20th to 24th August 2022. After a highly competitive application round and an interview, I was fortunate enough to be selected to attend the conference. Being a student in my 2nd year of Bachelor of Commerce attending the conference and commuting to Delhi is difficult for me due to the huge expense.

Since I have been paying for all of my previous events on my own, this is my first campaign for crowdfunding, and I am asking for your assistance in making my efforts successful.

The Harvard College Conference will undoubtedly provide doors for me to pursue my goals and serve as a bridge to my aspirations in the fields of sustainable development and mental health.

This conference will act as a catalyst for my ambitions and goals and will provide me with the right direction as many speakers from various tracks of life will be participating in this conference who have brought a major change in others' life.

Some details of the HPAIR Conference are:
The Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) was founded in 1991 to create a forum of exchange for students and young professionals to discuss and learn about the most important economic, political, and social issues facing the Asia-Pacific region. Since 1991, HPAIR has organized 49 conferences in 34 different host countries, touching the lives of more than 40,000 students and young professionals.
HPAIR conferences feature world-class speakers and guests to foster delegates' mentorship, networking, and guidance opportunities. Previous speakers include Kevin Rudd, the former Prime Minister of Australia; Ban Ki-moon, the former Secretary General of the United Nations; Robin Chase, co-founder and former CEO of Zipcar; and Frank Friedman, current COO of Deloitte Global to name a few.

This year’s speakers are Kunal Shah( Founder of CRED), Manish Malhotra, Geoff Ralston( President of Y COMBINATOR), Deepak Bagla( CEO & MD of INVEST INDIA), and many more.

The details of the expenses are:
Registration fee - 495$ (INR 40,000 Approx.)
Last Date for registration:- 20 July 2022

Any small contribution on your part could help me take a step closer to attending this conference. Even if you are unable to make a donation yourself, I would be extremely grateful if you could pass on the word.
