I am raising funds for my father Nongmaithem Deven Singh (who is also known as Kholou Deven – meaning The voice).  My father has served his life as chief bureaucrat journalist in many well-known newspapers in Manipur. My father is suffering from multiple myeloma – the final stage. Multiple myeloma is a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell. Healthy plasma cells help you fight infections by making antibodies that recognize and attack germs. In multiple myeloma, cancerous plasma cells accumulate in the bone marrow and crowd out healthy blood cells. My father is also suffering from chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension.

We are four sisters trying our best to make his little life easy. We need blood transplants every week and medical expenses are very high.
