As part if it's 10-year reunion activities, the NITK B.Tech batch of 2012 is organizing a fundraiser for mess workers and support staff at NITK and their children.
The fundraising goal is Rs. 10 lacs.
The reunion organizers are coordinating with the Dean of Alumni Affairs (Prof Vijay Desai) in this regard. The Dean has clarified that a special endowment account will be created for the donations, with the accrued interest being distributed to staff and their children. The funds will be used to support educational programs and scholarships and emergency medical expenses.
