Writing to you today, we wish to ask for your humble cooperation to a cause that has taken to the core of our hearts. Madam/Sir below is Nitin’s story: a window into how the drive and passion to education know no bounds, except now, when there is a financial obstacle hurdling his way.
Nitin, a 21-year-old boy, is currently pursuing his MSc in economics from IIT Delhi. He has lived with 100% blindness all his life but has a clear vision of the future he wants for himself and his family.
He comes from a small village in Uttar Pradesh , where his father and brother work in a field and agriculture is the only source of income. Nitin came to Delhi four years back and was living in an NGO during his schooling and has been living in campus hostels since then.
“Life hasn’t been easy in Delhi because of the huge competition at every juncture but the educational institutions have been very accommodative when it comes to me” he says.
He has previously studied under NFDC , Help the Blind Foundation and has never failed to keep up their hopes. Nitin wants to pursue further studies and crack the civil services exams so that he can become self reliant , support his family financially and work towards the betterment of our country.
At present, he is facing issues as he is unable to pay the fees of his post-graduation due to a lack of financial resources. He requires 50,000 per semester and the due date for this semester is approaching soon. You might agree when we say all Nitin must care about right now is his future, not any monetary factor.
There are so many like Nitin who have aptitude, brilliance, and spirit, yet a mere price tag on a necessity blinds their eyes. We hereby request you to join us in helping Nitin by reaching out to more people and donating as much as you can as soon as possible.
Trusting you and the process
