Neurofibromatoses are a group of genetic disorders causing tumors to form on the nerve tissues. These tumors can develop anywhere in the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Moreover, nine-year-old Pardeshi has been suffering from this medical ailment ever since he was just three years old.
Still a child, Nitesh has spent most of his childhood suffering from this rare disease. Moreover, in the past two years, his face has swollen up and is disfigured to an extent where he can neither talk nor eat properly. Moreover, his medical ailment has not only affected his health but also robbed him of his childhood.
His parents, Penshan Lal and Sudha Bai have seen their child suffer in front of their eyes and are on the verge of giving up. They have left no stone unturned to gather the required funds. Moreover, Nitesh's parents are daily wage laborers with a meager income who have now taken to the streets to beg in order to fund their ailing child's treatment. However, due to their financial incapability, they are unable to seek the medical attention Nitesh needs.
For the past two years, both the parents have strived to arrange funds for the treatment but have failed as the expenses were too high. The poor parents have tried all possible ways to see proper treatment for the boy, but nothing seems to have worked out so far. Although some hope still flickers in their heart that they might see their child healthy again, they are now exhausted and on the verge of giving up.
Initially, Nitesh's parents took him to see different doctors and even went to Bhopal for his treatment. However, the cost of the procedures and their inability to fend for their child broke their spirits. The family tried taking advantage of the government schemes and visited local government hospitals for his treatment, but their cries for help fell on deaf ears. Therefore, the parents had no other choice than to beg for their child's healthy future.
Nitesh's family has seen him burdened with the tumor throughout his life. They have witnessed the young boy's struggle. However, they have been his strength when he was too weak to do routine activities. But now, they have run out of funds with no one to go to. Moreover, Nitesh's parents are torn between seeking medical attention for him and keeping the family fed.
With their growing family and falling income, the helpless parents seek help from the community. Burdened due to their current predicament, they are waiting for a good samaritan. They express their inability and seek financial aid from society, urging people to support them during these testing times.
