Nitish a jovial boy, is a 3rd year Commerce student at Anandpur College, Keonjhar. He met with a severe road accident on 6th afternoon while returning back from college on his bike. He was hit by a heavy vehicle (truck). The truck fled the accident spot. However, he was taken to Hatadihi Hospital by a passerby kind hearted youth. From there he was shifted to Bhadrak Medical. Since many fractures were there in skull, facial bone and bleeding was there from nose and ears, he was advised to shift to Cuttack/Bhubaneswar for immediate surgery. For which he was shifted to Cuttack and currently under treatment at Ashwini Hospital (A unit of Cuttack Hospitals Private Limited), Reg No. 1070/80, Sector -1, CDA, Bidanasi, Cuttack - 753014, Phone : 0671-2363007. He needs to under go multiple surgeries on his skull, face to save his life. He is from a lower middle class family and his father is a farmer depending on agriculture for maintenance of his family. This sudden turn of events have shattered them mentally and financially. They need financial support to save their son. They have already spent close to one lakh in one surgery yesterday and need two lakhs for surgery of facial muscle and bones. Then there will be surgery for the multiple fractures in skull and internal damages which may cost around 3-4 lakhs. Its an appeal to the kind hearted to come forward and help this boy to get back to his normal life.
