My name is Nagamani and I am here to raise funds for my husband Nirmal Kumar who is 61 years old. Nirmal Kumar lives in Ballari, Karnataka with me.He is currently seeking out a suitable job.

He is suffering from Pancreatitis, kidney failure, and lung infection from 1 month. He is currently admitted and receiving ICU Care in AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Details from day one since he is admitted from March 29th 2020 :
Nirmal kumar has cardiac problem with only 40% heart functionality .He was doing fine with this ,suddenly he had severe stomach ache on 29th March 2020 and he visited(Ballari Hrudayalaya & Superspciality Hospital) as he is a cardiac patient.  After visiting he had been diagnosed with severe pancreatic infection which led to sudden Acute kidney failure which required immediate dialysis so he was shifted to (Arunodaya Hospital) and was on dialysis there .

In the process he developed breathing problems and his hemoglobin levels also dropped with severe vomiting.

With too many complications ,it was tough to get proper treatment in 

Bellary . So he was advised to get treated in AIG hospital where he had been previously operated to remove the gal baldder becuase of infection five months back .

Amidst of severe Covid 19 pandemic , he was taken to Hyderbad on 05th April in ambulance which is 9 hours away .

After getting admitted in AIG , he was put in ICU immediately  as his Creatine level was severely critical (about 10 since he missed the dialysis because of travel to Hyderabad.  

There he was further diagnosed with necrosis and was operated to have it coiled so that artery near pancreas wont burst .But he still had the pancreas infection and lung infection and he is on continuous dialysis and blood transfusion .

Suddenly on 21st April , he had severe breathing problems while Blood transfusion and he was shifted to ICU and is on Bipap ventilator care since then.It has so far costed around INR 7 lakhs , he is 61 years old with no earning and savings .The total 7 lakhs has been funded by his near and dear so far.
He needs to be in ICU for further 3-5 days or even more than that and in hospital for another 15-20 days at least.

We do not know the exact cost he is further expected to bear as severe pancreatitis response is not predictive and it may worsen further.
So roughly he might incur another 5-8 lakhs from what ever he has spent so far .
