What is that we do for Elephants?
  • Rescued 2 baby Elephants Ammukutty & Raghu whom animal activists & forest department tried to push back into the wild. Being raised at the forest department camp now. Otherwise, they would have got killed.
  • Rescued Gomathi Elephant of Thiruvidaimarudhoor Temple from the same rogue NGO who abused the Kanchi Elephants and sent her also to the forest department camp.
  • Intervened and advised Euthanasia in the case of Temple Elephants Rajeshwari & Devanayagi who were left to rot by HR&CE & Forest department.
  • Rescued Malachi Elephant from an abusive owner who was abusing her and sent her to the forest department camp.
  • Intervened and stopped Masini Elephant of Samayapuram going into the rogue NGO’s hands again.
  • Another Half-Baked NGO wanted Chinnathambi Elephant sent back to the wild. He had become a crop raider and in the verge of becoming rogue. Our intervention helped the forest department save him.
  • Rescued 3 Kanchi Mutt Elephants from a rogue NGO who were abusing them to beg donations from westerners. They were also sent to the forest department camp.
  • Stopped relocating of Deer by the forest department from Chennai city to the wild as they had never seen a predator and hence, they cannot survive.
  • We address Human Elephant conflict by identifying bottle necks in the system and removing them. In an ongoing case of the Coimbatore Elephant Corridors, we have managed to shutdown 200 odd illegal Brick Kilns destroying Elephant habitat. Case is still going into the finer details of securing Elephant corridors.
  • Escalated Masinagudi resort burnt Elephant incident to the court for improving medical and rescue facilities of TN forest department.
  • Intervened in Pondicherry Manakula Vinayagar Temple Elephant Lakshmi being confiscated by PETA with the help of Maneka Gandhi.
