    This fundraiser will benefit

    Neerajaksha Naidu Enamandala

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

Hi,
I am Pujitha, raising funds for my father, Neerajaksha Naidu (56 years old) who is suffering from severe lung damage due to COVID and is battling it for the last 29 days(as of 6th June). My dad tested positive for COVID on May 9th and was admitted to the hospital on May 11th. His HRCT severity is 25/25 i.e 100% lung infected. He is strongly fighting for recovery in Medivision hospital, Hyderabad. Earlier he received treatment from Medicover hospital, Hyderabad.

During hospitalization, as his oxygen requirements grew significantly (>17L/min), doctors decided to intubate him with ventilator support. He is on a ventilator since 24th May. He showed signs of recovery, unfortunately, he then developed a critical COVID complication of pneumomediastinum, along with pneumothorax, in which his lungs collapsed and the air is leaking from his lungs. This complication requires him to stay on ventilator support and in ICU for a long time maybe 3-4 more weeks.

We managed with our savings(+medical insurance) till this point of treatment and we will soon run out of personal funds as he needs prolonged hospitalization in critical care and post that he will need to be in rehabilitation for 1-2 more months. I request you to kindly contribute towards my dad’s treatment in this time of need. Every small contribution counts and is very important to us.

We would like to use the funds collected from the community for the treatment of my dad for the following:
ICU bed with a ventilator - 50000-60000/day on average
Rehabilitation - 6L/month

My dad is a super strong person and I am very positive that with all your help, we can get him home.

Thank you!
