In Kasganj, the migrant workers largely come from Bihar and Orissa. They are employed by the contractors in brick kiln activities. They live in temporary hutments (jhuggis, in local language) nearby their workplaces. In these adverse economical and social conditions, they cannot take proper food for their family.
To bridge this gap, the Sapdra Foundation has been successfully distributing ration kits to the migrant workers working in brick kilns in District Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh.
Our goal is to provide monthly ration kits to all the migrant workers working at 133 brick kilns in District Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh so that they can eat healthy foods.
