My sister and I worked with schoolchildren in our village, but recently lost our jobs due to the shutting of schools under the ongoing pandemic. Our father left us 7 months go and was been bedridden and injured since the last two years, and could not work and provide for us. The burden of sustaining the family now falls on my single mother.

In our community, marriages take place in groups with the aid of organizations to pool resources and cut costs, but we are unable to do this in line with the government guidelines on public gatherings.

Please help my sister and I get married on the 14th of January, 2021 without burdening our mother, we are already struggling for basic necessities. Thank you.
