It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you about our beloved friend Nayanmoni Saikia from Tezpur, Assam who has passed away on 25th July after battling with Covid-19. Nayan was very popularly known for his contribution towards art and culture, drama, sports. In spite of appearing in few Assamese movies and Hindi short films he also directed couple of TV serials and short films. Recently he initiated a new YouTube channel and won accolades for his valuable work.

He is survived by his ailing mother, his wife Chandrama Saikia and his 8yr old Daughter. Nayan was the only bread-earner for his family. Please keep Nayan's family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
