A non-fiction film on the journey of the age-old craft of Ply-Split Braiding with the master-braider, Erroll Pires Nelson and his successor, Shubhra Singh.

Ply-Split Braiding is a lesser known textile-making craft traditionally used to make camel belts by camel herders in parts of Rajasthan & Gujarat.

Often, these lesser known crafts are never known to us!

The documentary film would attempt to show the journey of this craft and the magical lives touched by it. The craft which was limited just to camel belts has evolved with time and taken many shapes and forms. It has allured many folks across the world for its exquisiteness, simple and at the same time very complex weaving and the boundless creativity that it can bring in. The film shall also try to showcase the transcending nature of the craft.
