Nasir Ahmed Malik belongs to Poonch,J&K where he lives with his family including his wife, two minor children and his mother. He worked in Security for a hotel based in Oshiwara, Bombay. After 4 months of unpaid employment, he was forced to leave for home during the pandemic- a decision fraught with its own challenges. Now back home he has still not received his pending wages from his employer in Bombay. Moreover ,due to pandemic and constant shutdowns there are very few work opportunities left in his area,pushing him under a tremendous financial stress as he struggles to meet his family's basic needs that include medical needs of his ailing mother.
