My name is Kunal Ranade (22 years old). I am from Pune. I am raising funds for my father Mr. Narendra Ranade who is suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding.
He started bleeding from his nose and mouth a week ago and he was admitted to Jehangir Hospital in Pune. We were informed that he will have to undergo a small surgery. He was operated once to heal this condition. However, the surgery did not resolve this issue and he was readmitted.
Now the doctors are suggesting another procedure called the Upper GI scopy. These procedures along with the medications are expensive and are draining our savings and fixed deposits. So far we had to spend over Rs. 1,50,000 and it is estimated that more expenses will be incurred.
My father is engaged in the occupation of driving school vans/rikshaws. He is the only earning member in my family. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a brutal impact on our household earnings for the past few months.
