Hello everyone. My name is Naila. I’m an undergraduate student. We stay in Hyderabad, Telangana. My father Md.Ikramuddin aged 58 years has been battling COVID since one month. My mother is being treated at home with oxygen support. We are trying our best to get her treated at home as it will reduce our cost.Me and my younger sister were infected as well but by grace of god we recovered.
I have started this fundraiser campaign in the hopes of getting some aid from such well humans who can step up and do their part in helping us financially cope up this situation as we have no sole earning person in our family since my dad has been hospitalised and all our savings have exhausted in this one month of ICU stay and also in arranging medications like Bevacizumab and Remdesivir.
Currently doctors have given us hope that he can recover completely provided we keep him under long term oxygen support and are estimating him to b in ICU for another 15 days and later oxygen support after that for a month or so as he has developed Pulmonary Fibrosis due to covid which is making him unable to maintain his saturation and can take long time to heal.  he is also under DKA due to high sugar levels.
Until now with our savings and help from relatives we could arrange 4 lakhs for hospital stay and another 2 lakhs for medications, investigations for all four of us and arranging oxygen cylinders for our mother.
We have even approached government institutions but they turned us down telling it is post covid complication and they’re accepting only active covid cases.
