Dog, whenever this word comes to our mind the first thing we think of are tail wagging , cute looking fur-balls ready to be cuddled.
However, people hardly care about the dogs living on streets, feeding off of garbage, giving babies in drain pipes or dry gutters and the long list of medical problems they catch.
About Us
The NSAAS is a registered society (No. 502/2009) and an NGO.
From three dogs in 2009, the sanctuary is now home to 40 dogs, big and small dogs. Most of them were rescued from dust bins and garbage dumps, hostile neighborhoods, four-lane highways with heavy traffic in imminent danger of getting run over, etc. Today, we can guarantee them a safe, stable and a loving environment.
Our AIM
Decreasing the suffering of the animals in the outskirts of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Why outskirts
All the Animal Birth Control centers, veterinarians and GHMC zones are city bounded. Hence the crime against animals is more in the rural areas due to lack of knowledge and awareness about humanely decreasing the animal population.
However, long awaited Animals Birth Control(ABC) and Anti-Rabies program will be initiated FIRST TIME for the outskirts as well.
Whats in it for animal lovers?
Animal lovers can get their community dogs to the hospital for sterilization and anti rabies vaccine.
The total cost of building the hospital along with kennels is 8,00,000.
The construction has already begun and we are short of 5,40,000.
Lets join hands and create a world where there is no suffering for animals.
