We have rented out part of our house to Viji for the past 15 years. Viji is a very resourceful and hard-working woman whose main livelihood is ironing clothes. Her husband also irons alongside her. Though he is helpful, he is diabetic, and cannot get over his alcoholism.

Viji has two kids, Muthulakshmi and Santhosh, studying Class 9 and Class 6 respectively. She has brought them up all these years through her hard work and with some help from the community and the society. The kids study well and the elder one, Muthulakshmi, has important years ahead of her.

Viji is unable to meet the school expenses of her kids, now that her daughter is in high school. She would appreciate help from the broader community to help her kids and family to move on to the higher level.
