Story

Our NGO Mumbai Animal Association is based out in Mumbai Maharashtra and we are committed to impacting and improving lives for 5 years now. To take our objective a step further, we have begun a crowdfunding campaign to raise INR 1,00,000 for Vaccination of Community Strays.
Vaccination drive for community dogs were conducted in Dahisar, Borivli and Kandivli area of Mumbai Suburbs through 14 vaccination days. Each drive successfully vaccinated about 40 to 75 dogs.
With this campaign we are planning to work for the Stray Dogs and their health conditions. Vaccinating community dogs is an effort by Mumbai Animal Association and Bombay Animal Rights (BAR) to ensure the best co-existence between communities and community dogs. In the last 3 months, we have vaccinated 400 dogs. We now aim to vaccinate 400 more dogs in suburban Mumbai. We appeal for your contribution towards vaccines for dogs. 7-in-1 vaccine, which protects dogs against 7 diseases — canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, leptospirosis and coronavirus. These drives were possible only because of individuals who believed in living in harmony and caring for community animals.
By making them disease-free we are making our place clean and hygienic also. Healthy community dogs is important step towards improving human and community animals relationship. The reduced conflicts in community will provide opportunity for humans to understand the importance of community dogs. Community dogs provide safety and guard your community. Taking care of them will enhance security of humans.
