My name is Mr. Ryan Fernandes and I am here to raise funds for my mom Mrs. Yasmin Fernandes, aged 56 Years lives in Virar, Maharashtra is suffering from Metastatic disease in spine (Cancer). She had earlier detected breast cancer and she was operated for the same on 7th June 2019 in Asian Cancer Institute(Mumbai). Subsequently she had undergone 6 cycles of Chemotherapy in Mumbai Cancer Clinic which ended on 15th September 2019 and thereafter radiation therapy in HCG Cancer Hospital(Borivali). The radiation therapy ended on 10th December 2019. Post the radiation the lockdown started and we could not meet our doctor for follow-up.
During the month of August 2020, she started complaining about severe back pain. So, we consulted doctor and were advised to take PET scan. The PET scan report revealed as Metastatic disease on spine which was later informed by the doctor that the cancer has touched to the spine. Later she was given radiation therapy of 21 cycles and was under medication. In the view of the metastatic disease to the bones doctor had advised her Inj. Zolondronic acid once a month for 12 months and Tablet Ribociclib(3 stips) to be taken for 21 days.  The cost of the medicines and the treatment is very expensive and so far we have spent around 5,20,000 amount on breast cancer treatment and for the Metastatic breast cancer treatment the cost we need around 10,00,000.
