Hi Everyone,
As you might be aware, earlier this month, our dear friend / mentor / colleague - Mr G V Durgaprasad - succumbed to post Covid complications. While we grieve his loss, his untimely demise has been especially tough for his family.
Durga ji was diagnosed with Covid in mid-May. Through a combination of timely medical care, and care of his family, he recovered enough to be discharged from the hospital. However, after a few weeks, he contracted post-covid infection in his lungs and had to be admitted back to hospital. Durga ji continued to fight, and smile, through this ordeal. However, on the 5th July 2021, he suffered a stroke that he could not recover from and departed from this world at the age of 65. He is survived his wife Mrs Kavitha, a daughter who is studying in B. Com. first year, his mother aged 83 years, and other members of his extended family.
The last two months have been draining for his family - emotionally, as well as financially. While we will never be able to replace Durga ji's presence in their lives, let us all join hands and support his family like our own. It’s a humble appeal to each one of us to contribute the best we can.
Durga ji's smile, helping nature, and mentorship will forever remain forever in our memories. Thank you.
