There are lots of girls who fail their class 10 exam and then they have to sit at home. They are pressurised to get married and taunted by society for not being bright enough.
We will explore the reasons and the social impact on the lives of these girls through this documentary. We will also look through the eyes of policymakers and social workers about the reason of such things happening and what can be done to stop that.

I am associated with the NGO as a filmmaker to document the stories of these girls. The amount of money raised will be used to pay the expenses occurred during filmmaking and relevant technicians (editor, cinematographer, sound recordist) to create an engaging and emotional story of these girls. The amount of money will help us make a technically sound film. The film is going to be 30 minutes.
We have already made a five minute documentary about the issue. The documentary was shown at Centre for Civil Society event. The film was the winner of EduDoc Fellow programme 2018.
We now want to explore the lives of the mothers of these girls who have endured hardships to help these girls study again and pass their exams.

This documentary was screened at Annual EduDoc Fellow award and was considered the winner by filmmakers and policymakers.
