My name is Upasana Sen and I am here to fundraise for my sister, Moumita Chatterjee. The campaign is organized by me and my dad Apurba Kumar Sen.She comes from a lower middle-class family. Her father is a small farmer and mother is a housewife. Despite all hardships, she studies hard to complete her dreams to become a nurse. In 2014 when she was studying in her room she started vomiting and blood comes out from her vomit.  Her father rushed to Dr. Abhijit Chowdhury. The doctor diagnosed and told that there is a problem in the liver but with proper medication, she would be perfect. So he gave her proper medicine and starts her treatment. During all this treatment she gave Higher Secondary Examination and secured good marks. After consulting with the doctor, her father admitted her in a college in Bangalore to pursue a dream of becoming a nurse.  Everything is going well. But in January 2019 when she was enjoying her holiday she fell ill. Her fever was not getting cured. She was admitted to IPGMER and SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. In the hospital, doctors told that now medication couldn't help an only liver transplant is an option.
Now in April, a report came that shows her spleen has enlarged and now there is an urgency to operate both spleen and liver. Her father will donate her liver which costs around 2 lakhs. And this operation will cost around 23 lakhs.  So altogether it would require nearly 25 lakhs.
