Help us Save Indian Street Dogs

Born out of negligence and forced to live next to busy roads, Indian street dogs are starved, mistreated and run over every single day.
Because of not being vaccinated, they die from deadly diseases such as Parvo, Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis and sometimes out of sheer human cruelty. Little puppies suffer miserably and there is nothing worse than witnessing the loss of innocent lives.
We have come across so many heartwrenching cases and no matter how hard we try, feeding, vaccinating and Sterilising them is the only option we can rely on in the long run!
The sad reality in India is that stray pups die on the streets while people are busy buying pedigree dogs from backyard breeders. While it is impossible to change the shallow mentality, we want to do our bit in saving as many street dogs as we can.
As much as we like the idea of sweetest pups with the dreamiest eyes, it is devastating to see them suffer all their lives.
We are a bunch of rescue volunteers based out of Dharamshala and we are taking a small initiative to look after the street dogs in nearby areas and get them vaccinated and sterilized. if we are lucky enough to collect more funds, we can even try to eventually find homes for these dogs.
Although this journey is going to be challenging, our streeties are ready to fight for a better life. Needless to say, we need your help now more than ever!

The money that we collect will be used for:-
-  Feeding street dogs
-  6in1 Vaccine and Rabies Vaccine
-  Reflective Collars
-  Spay and Neuter plus Post-Op care
-  Basic First aid essentials
-  Dog food
-  Any emergency Case
-  Rehoming abandoned dogs

Since 2018, we have managed to get four dogs adopted (one in India and three overseas), two females sterilized and few street dogs rescued just in time. None of this would have been possible without people who supported us at every step and helped us achieve this.
Please donate and help spread the word. Your donation will help us save countless lives. It will mean the world to our Indian street dogs.

Dear Supporters,

Every time I lose a precious life, my heart becomes heavier with the kind of grief I didn't even know my heart could hold.
I have witnessed more heartbreak in rescue work than anything else in my entire life. I have lost puppies sleeping peacefully next to their mothers with their tiny paws crushed by ruthless drivers. I have been on endless guilt trips where the dogs I couldn't find a home for became victims of human negligence and unfortunate incidents.

No matter how hard I work towards saving lives, there is only a little I can achieve on my own. Even after many successful adoptions, there are still countless areas beaming with litters after litters.
Nothing brings my soaring spirits down like the sight of heavily pregnant females and lactating mothers trying to fend for their pups.
If there is one way I can actually make a small difference in their lives, it has to be through SPAY and NEUTER.
Sterilization is the only humane way to break the cycle of suffering that Indian street dogs go through apart from the harsh conditions they live in. You will be surprised to know what an impact a little #sniptrip can bring in their lives!
We have decided to team up with Dogs of Delhi spay and neuter- an organisation that shares our vision and has been working tirelessly to sterilize the street dogs of Delhi.
                                Netaji Subhash Place
It only costs 15$ to get a street dog sterilized and it includes 5 days of post-operative care to ensure complete recovery.
We aim at getting 50 dogs in Netaji Subhash Place  in Delhi Sterilized in the coming weeks and for that, we seek your help.
There is not much we can do without your support and every penny you spare will make sure no more litters die on the streets of India.
Will you be a part of our initiative??
If you'd like to sponsor a street dog's sterilization, please donate here for them.
Together we can save more lives and bring a bigger change!

Thank you everyone for supporting us throughout the campaign. With your help, we were able to achieve much more than we could have ever imagined. We sterilized, vaccinated and re homed many dogs and secured many lives to say the least. Two of our pups will be flying to the States for a better shot at life-all because you amazing people put your trust in us. One of our dogs is in a foster home, waiting to find a forever family! W even helped dogs get sterilized in adjacent cities. We ordered hundreds of reflective collars with your donations.
Our street dogs don't sleep with an empty belly because you helped us feed them every single day.
Just know that your tremendous support means the world to us :)

Can you imagine the helplessness that comes from being an individual looking after countless street dogs that need your constant help?

Our street dogs rely on whatever little we can do for them, they depend on whatever donations we manage to get from amazing supporters like you!We need help with sterilisations, vaccinations, food and medical expenses for hundreds of street dogs who have nowhere else to go.
We need help with fixing their fractured paws and mending their broken hearts.
Their life is a constant struggle and the least we can do is make it easier for them in whatever ways possible.

We can't do this alone and need your constant support. It breaks our heart to see them suffering in harsh conditions.
