About Moksha Art Space
Moksha began its journey in 2019 with the aim of bringing out the best in every individual through their talents from diverse art fields. The space invites people from different fields of art to come together, grow and perform.
With the aim of creating an open learning space for aspiring artists and providing an opportunity for a diverse study, Moksha runs various Dance Educational Courses (including a 9 months Diploma and other short courses) and is also hopeful to approach different art fields by supporting emerging artists and providing a platform for the same. Besides that, Moksha Company Dancers are constantly working on creating art productions under the choreographic guidance of its Director, Rahul Goswami.
Art Box Festival
The Art Box Festival is an interdisciplinary event where we are inviting diverse art practitioners to present their work and to create a space for a liberal exchange in the art community.
Various emerging/established musicians, theatre practitioners, dancers, choreographers and visual artists are going to be part of the festival. Productions created with different choreographers during the course of diploma will also be presented along with the students’ own creations. A Production curated by the Company Dancers of Moksha is also being presented along with a Dance Film Screening.
Moksha will be presenting “Art Box Festival” at the Bangalore International Centre from December 10th to 12th, showcasing varying art performances and all of its students’ work. Moksha wants to organize and run this Festival successfully and hopes that this attempt of crowdfunding would allow and help us do that.
The estimated cost for the Art Box Festival including the expenditures on Rent, Lights, Costumes, Music, Promotions amounts to Rs 3,00,000/-. We hope to raise this minimum amount to get the Festival going.
Any donation from your side will be appreciated and we will be grateful if we run this festival with the support of a larger community. We will be happy to provide donors pass for donations above 2000.We are extremely thankful for your support and kindness and look forward to see you for the Festival.
