HI! My Wife and I are raising funds to support doctors and other healthcare workers who are/going to be on the frontlines of the covid19 pandemic in India. We both are Healthcare workers belonging to the Pharmaceutical Sector and reside in Bandra Mumbai. Currently, they are incredibly vulnerable to the virus because they have no personal protection kits (PPE) when they are treating patients. This endangers both the doctors and the other non-infected patients that they are seeing every day. To support and protect these health service providers, we are in the process of buying PPE kits in bulk, at a discounted price, and distribute them to nurses, Healthcare staff and doctors who are working in especially vulnerable environments in India. So far, I have delivered 1000 PPE kits to various doctors. My wife and I are trying to raise funds to cover the cost of more PPE kits, masks and sanitizers. We NEED to raise donation to pay for procuring more PPE Kits, Masks and sanitizers and are looking towards YOUR support to protect those who are risking their lives to keep our country safe. This is just the beginning of what we want to do to help vulnerable populations in India. If all goes well (i.e. if we get enough support from you all), we'll also start raising money to provide medical support to the street children of India.)
