Hello there! This is Mohith, currently pursuing my Integrated MSc in Physics at Pondicherry Central University, Puducherry, India. I've always been interested in contributing my knowledge and skill set towards combatting Climate Change, especially harnessing solar energy to increase the component of renewable energy in the energy mix we consume today. I am currently involved in graduate level research on Next Generation Photovoltaic materials, and energy materials with bio-eco-compatibility. I have been keenly following up with UN forums such as UNEP and UNESCO to keep myself updated on the recent climate change data and policies related to it. When I came across AYIMUN -2019 advertisement on Facebook, I got really interested to participate in it, which I later learned that it is a simulation of UN and the functions of its allied forums such as UNEP, where one can network and connect with like-minded people across the globe, exchange ideas mutually and it'll be a great boos to one's career in terms of one's public speaking and critical thinking skill development. Since, I received my selection notification upon expressing and demonstrating my passion for combatting climate change via. academic research, I got much curious and excited of participating in AYIMUN 2019, to be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia from 25-28 August 2019.

This is my first ever invitation to present my research and viewpoints on battling climate change via. academic research on Photovoltaics and Material science. I find AYIMUN - 2019, to be a path-changing event in my life, especially my academic career which has immense potential to unleash my potential and expand my level of thinking. It also helps me to overcome my stage fear and fear of crowd :P
