After the Corona Pandemic outbreak and lockdown in India , thousands of daily wage labourers working in Oil and Gas , Construction sites are left without an income and no help from government, they cannot go back to their villages in UP and Bihar and are stranded in their slums in Vishnu Nagar ,Mahul Jetty .
These people do not have ration cards and cannot avail any relief from the government.
We at Chembur Welfare Brigade have been supplying them ration and face masks since the end of March. We have 4 such drives until now and currently we are seeking donations for 1500 ration kits at INR 780 each which would feed a family of 4 for a fortnight ( 14 days ).
Each kit will contain :
3kgs Rice , 2 kgs Daal , 1 kg salt , 2 kg sugar, packet of cooking oil, 2 kg onion and 1 kg potatoes, 250 gms tea.
We have been recognized by the Central Government, Multiple News Channels and Press Media.
