My name is Mohit and I've been living Punjab for the last 3 years. Myself and others have noticed an ongoing problem of un-fed, under-fed or otherwise tragically malnourished dogs and cats. Some of these animals actually have owners but unfortunately in the rural villages of Punjab the locals do not treat animals properly. They are poor farmers for the most part and to put it quite frankly they lack understanding and awareness of what proper animal treatment is. As a result we took it upon ourselves to take care of the many cows, dogs and cats in the area and feed them. Unfortunately, most of us are not much richer than the poor local Indians. Paying for proper nutritious dog and cat food is expensive and we need help. We would like to continue feeding them, walking them and giving them love.
