I am Rizwana Begum, My husband Mohammed Arifuddin, aged 75 years was a Covid survivor, he had night blindness condition due to which he lost almost all vision in both his eyes, He was undergoing treatment for infections in his lungs and Urinary tract since 10th May 2021 in the Apollo hospital, Hyderabad. While he was been treated in the ICU of Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, he suffered a sudden Cardic Arrest on 22nd May 2021 in the ICU of the hospital. After the cardiac arrest, the doctors put him on ventilator after reviving his heart by cardiac resuscitation. The doctor said he cannot survive without the ventilator and if the ventilator is removed he would loose his life.
His D-Timer test reading is 3947 whereas the normal reading should be below 500, his CRP is 250 (should be below 20) and his Procalcitonin test reading is 25 (should be below 0.5), all these indicating the high amount of infection in his body .... The doctors said he is in imminent danger of getting another heart attack and going into septic shock if not treated properly with high end medications which are very costly. The hospital charges are approximately Rs.1,25,00,00/- per day. We have already paid a bill of Rs.8,40,000/- until now by utilising everything at our disposal. We have put in all the possible resources and have done our best to manage the finances till now but going forward we're dependent on any help from God, friends and good samaritans.
The family has done all it can to collect the total amount required for the treatment but Rs.25,00,000/- more is required to pay for all the medical expenses. I am unable to pay the further charges for the hospital treatment. My husband was an honest and kind person, always ready to help others in whatever way he can. He lived his life with honesty. He was a good father and a responsible husband. Today he needs your help to survive, he needs your help to keep breathing, Your help can keep our hopes alive.
