They say that when you cook with love, the food tastes the yummiest. It is no surprise, then, that Mithilesh bhaiya, aka, sevPuri Bhaiya serves the best BHEL in all of Delhi. From 1991 to date, he has served the students, teachers, admin staff and alumni of Jesus and Mary college Delicious Bhel and Sev puri for every mood-
The celebratory bhel when you topped a class assignment
The emergency bhel when you were on a low budget day
The indulgent bhel when you cheated on your diet cos you just couldn’t resist
The friendship wali bhel cos you left your wallet at home but a friend shared her plate with you
The mood fixing Bhel, when we went through a tough fight/breakup.
Sev puri bhaiya has always served us. He has been a part of all of our journeys in some way or an other, serving us mouthwatering goodness , and alway with a smile.
Unfortunately, that smile is now beginning to waver. Due to the extremely turbulent times caused by Covid, college remains closed. Mithlesh can no longer serve his yummy bhel and is in dire need of our support. So lets stand up for him and repay him for all his love; for all the extra papadis he gave us just because; for all the special requests he took “bhaiya saunt nahi, bhaiya no pyaaz”; for all the warmth. Please know, that no amount is too small. But whatever you contribute with love will mean a lot. Please help us help Mithlesh Jha, One of the most memorable part of Jesus And Mary College.
