My Mother in law, Mrs Minu Rani Shome, admitted in ICU since 27th October, diagnosed with Urosepsis, acute kidney injury, MDRO ( multi drug resistance) & other issues as well. Her multiple major organs got infected & the infection spread in blood very badly .She is with Ventilation support it's been 9 days. As maximum medicines not working for her UROSEPSIS infection, hence recovery is very slow.
She had a hip surgery on last July & since then she was bedridden couldn't get up due to her Parkinson. Doctor stated due to long time bedridden situation infection grew & her condition now very critical.
Hospital ICU ventilation & medication per day crosses approx 35k-45k per day based on her medical condition on a particular day.

a. Currently only one medicine works for her UROSEPSIS infection which costs 7200/-per day ( 1200 per injection x 6) apart from other medications.
b. Per day Ventilation, ICU bed charge, Special doctor charges & other special equipment charges goes around 20k.
c. Doctors are repeating all blood test,culture, urine culture, chest xray ,ECG once or twice a day which costs around 7-10k approx.
d. Aprat from these there are other medications also we need to provide based on her daily condition.
e. Per day 30k is ICU advance we have to submit.
I am trying my best and so the doctors also. I can see hope to recover & get her back but needs more financial support . We already spend 3 lacks & last hip surgery also approx 2lacks. Now it looks We are running out of money. If we cannot pay ICU ,medicine & doctor charged,they will take her out , immediately she will expire.Because she became ventilation dependent now,it will take time for her to come out.
