Madhubani, a town in Mithilanchal well known for its own culture and tradition. It is also known for Madhubani Painting spread worldwide, which is a popular art of its kind.
In this cultural town we (DBG FILM CLUB) are organizing a film festival this year from 29th October, 2019 to 30th October, 2019. The only motive to organize this event is to connect the rural areas of state of Bihar and its nearby region with healthy and good cinema to encourage and promote the art, culture, literature, heritage etc of Bihar. Our endeavor is to bridge the regional cinema with national and international cinema keeping the prospect as to raise the level of technology, creativity, innovation etc on the broad level. We are devoted towards the budding film makers from our region to encourage their skills and spread awareness regarding the "art of film making". It could also help in the commercialization of the area to make it grow financially in the field of cinema which will subsequently help in establishing and growing the regional film industry.
