My name is Meheli Roy Choudhury. Currently, I am studying MA Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, DU. I have been offered admission to study Master's in International Affairs at Hertie School of Governance, Berlin, starting this fall 2021. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study a dynamic course in one of the best institutions in the world but it costs more than my family can afford. I come from a low-income, middle-class family have and no additional assets. COVID Pandemic and other extenuating circumstances have caused plenty of unforeseen expenditure and our funds reserved for my education are now depleted. Plus, my parents haven't been receiving their complete salary for a year now which has lead to financial difficulties.
