I have grown up playing with stray dogs and cats. I moved around as a kid with my parents. My father served defence. Because if this I never had the pleasure of having a pet as a kid. I have found my two 5 yr old pet cats on the streets and raised them to be very healthy and active. But I have also encountered deaths of many kittens when I visited NGOs as a kid or teenager.
Most of them did not even provide an environment enjoyable for cats as they are wild in nature and love the sight of greenery and the smell of soil.
At some adoption centres I tried to adopt kittens, there was not much passion as it is more complicated to maintain such spaces especially at neglected NGOs and the kittens were usually in bad health and given neglected medical care. Also kept in cages which is a stressful situation.
I had always wanted to do something to help young stray kittens as they die more often because of the way stray cats raise their kittens, by changing homes
Also, they can get deadly feline leukaemia when young and stray. also many people not knowing the importance of vaccination for kittens at young age. These are the reasons I have faced most amount of abandoned kittens sick or dying.
I finally have a home where I can provide them shelter and care. I want to provide a solid enclosed boarding structure where I can keep it natural with trees and plants around for them to play and climb and yet be guarded and safe. But I need your build a safe sanctuary for hurt, sick and abandoned kittens as I have the care and determination but not enough funds to build a fabricated enclosure.
