Peach and Plum, 2 sisters, were found together on the road when they were about 3 months. This sister duo was rescued and later adopted by an elderly lady who was unable to manage them and kept them locked in a room 24x7 for 4 months.
After they were rescued again from here, their stay was arranged permanently in a shelter.
On a surprise visit to the shelter to meet them, the rescuers found the 2 in extremely poor health and without any care, and once again they were rescued from these pitiful conditions and moved to Boarding. Where they got healed after good care and medical treatment given to them.
They have been in boarding ever since then ..for more than 7 months and chances of finding them a home in India are next to impossible.
We have now planned to send them to the US as soon as the international travel restrictions are lifted. We have already spent more than 3 lacs on their stay at boarding and now sending to the US is an expensive process. However, it is not an inexpensive process and we are not currently equipped to arrange such a large sum. That's why we need your help! If you feel these two sisters deserve to have a happy life, after all, they have gone through in the past. If you think this is a worthy cause, please do come forward to support in whatever little way you can.
We are updating the total amount because I received an estimate from the pet relocation company and they said it will approximately cost Rs.3,25,000. The cost breakdown is as follows:
Airport Clearance,Health Permit,Tests,Frieght ,GST included 150,000 each + two 40x27x30 inch Cage @12,500 each (25000)
