Covid-19, as the disease caused by the novel coronavirus is called, has infected more than 7.5 lakh people worldwide, killing more than 36,220. In India alone, the disease has so far caused 39 deaths and infected at least 1328 people across 25 states, as of 31st March 2020.

Medical experts agree that the only way to control the rapidly spreading disease is to practice social distancing and limit human-to-human interactions. On 23rd March, Our honourable PM announced nationwide Lockdown into action by closing down schools, colleges, malls, theatres, restaurants, shops and non-essential workplaces, recommending working from home where possible.

But It’s important to remember that not all can remain in quarantine without their lives being completely upturned. The financial impact, especially on families that survive on daily income - laborers, domestic helps, Auto drivers, restaurant waiters, tailors, plumbers, electrician, construction site workers have been far reaching. On the other hand, there are many people in our society: doctors, nurses, conservancy workers (garbage/waste segregators), delivery staff, field volunteers working tirelessly to ensure our societal needs are met: often at the risk of personal safety.

But if there’s anything that the pandemic has taught us, it is that people want to help those who need it the most.

I am happy that God has blessed you with amneties and hope that you are taking enough care of you and your family by staying at home. But there are some people whose share of amneties lies with us.

These underprivileged people are either migrating with starvation or starving at home. Although the government of India has already been helping the needy as much as possible. Still we need your help to reach the people in the remote location of small towns where government amneties do not reach in order to make sure that nobody dies in hunger.

We need to come forward as a responsible community to support them with any contribution which hardly will make any difference in your life but can prove to be LIFE for a family. Your support is key in solving this problem.

I am sure that a blessed and responsible dignity like you will surely take a step to back us for this social act.

We thank you in advance for your support!
