It's my fight with destiny to save my husband's life from the life threatening disease , Leukemia. It was in early August 2019 when life was away from my grip when we came to know that my husband has been diagnosed with Leukemia ( AML) while going for a routine blood check up . We couldn't believe it as he has always lead a very routines life without any sort of addiction . How inever the reports were confirmed to be true at Tata Medical Center Rajarhat Kolkata. In search of good and affordable treatment we went to Mumbai Tata Medical Center. He was admitted in the hospital for an induction but here too destiny was not in my favour as the outcome of the induction was a galore. We had to stay at Mumbai for 2 months which had exhausted much of our funds. As such we returned home and since then he is undergoing treatment at Tata Medical Center Rajarhat Kolkata. Whatever funds we had is completely exhausted in the duration of one year which is a sum of 10 to 12 lakhs. Now the doctors have advised for an urgent bone marrow transplant as a curative measure before the disease takes an aggressive form. Hello me and my two children win the battle against this and once again we can think of little happiness in our lives.
