Master Vignesh Kumar 13 years is suffering from congenital Heart disease risks losing his life to a cardiac arrest at any moment without an urgent Heart surgery.
The doctors have said that he can be saved with open-heart surgery, but it needs to happen at the earliest. He was only 6-months-old when parents were told about his condition, and they’ve been looking for a solution
ever since. Even then, they weren’t fully aware of how dangerous his disease is.
“There are no obvious symptoms for his disease, so on the outside, he looks normal and healthy. He’s tired sometimes, but other than that he seems okay. In reality, his heart might stop working at any moment.
Whenever I walk him to school, I keep looking at him because I’m scared he might collapse. This is the scariest part of his disease. It’s so dangerous and we will never know when death might strike. Surgery is our only hope for him.” says Urvashi, mother.
Both parents are trying hard to save their kid. Santhosh is a daily wage worker. He can’t afford the 5 lakhs needed for his Son’s heart surgery, even though it’s the only thing that can save him now. Santhosh is devastated and has no one to turn to for help and moreover all the money he has borrowed is now exhausted.
