My name is Suja Koshy , and I am raising funds to support Mary (60) and Joseph (62) from Idukki who lost their house and livelihood workshop in 2018 flood disaster. Before the disaster struck, they were a hard-working happy family. Joseph has a small workshop where he and his elder son used to repair old vehicles and lead a normal life in their small world. Then the 2018 flood struck and destroyed their house and the workshop completely.  
I have attached the picture of their house and land here after the flood.  They have received some support from the govt and bought 5 cent lands nearby. They have tried to build a house with the limited money they had. The house is still incomplete. Joseph had a spine surgery recently and unable to do any mechanic work.  
Mary is currently supporting the family by working as daily wage labourer. They are currently living in this partially built house which only has basic structure, no windows, doors, proper roof, or toilets. As the rainy season approaching, they are finding extreme difficulty to live in that house.
Mary and her family are looking for assistance to fix their home so they can secure their house in the rainy season.
