I am Manoj Satapathy from Rourkela Odisha. Life took an unexpected turn when I was recently diagnosed with blood cancer (Multiple Myeloma). All necessary blood tests and biopsy confirmed to be treated with immediate chemotherapy along with weekly life-saving injection costing 2.1 lakhs each for 8 weeks followed by Bone marrow transplant. My treatment has already begun and the overall estimated cost of treatment is ₹35 Lakhs to ₹40 Lakhs, a sum far beyond my means.
I am a social worker and a father of two — my elder child is pursuing engineering, and my younger is in Class 11. As a single earning member with family responsibilities and children’s education to manage, I am unable to afford this treatment on my own. I am reaching out with hope and humility, seeking your generous support to help me fight this battle against cancer and be there for my children.
