*Help Aashram, a permanent home for animals.*
Aashram started with a dog (Minnie) whom I found roadside. She inspired me to do something for animals. I created a permanent home for animals and called it Aashram. I have been running it for more than five years now. Today, all the animals who come here are vaccinated by me. In last 5 years, I managed it well with my limited earnings , but at this point I am organizing it in a way so that my contribution could be an advantage to the ever growing Aashram residents and community. Presently, there are 43 dogs and cats living together. As this is their permanent home,all their food, clothing and medical expenses are taken care solely by me. Due to sudden increase in the number I stand in huge debt today. For this purpose, I am raising Rs.1,80,000, which includes previous 3 months due amount, their food and winter arrangements. Further categorization of the expenses per month is :
Atta- Rs. 7500 (300 kgs)
Rice- Rs. 4000 ( 100 kgs)
Milk- 6500 (150 ltrs)
Vegetables- Approximately Rs. 3000
Biscuit- Approximately Rs. 5000
Bajra- Rs.1000
Care taker- Rs. 12000
Medical treatment and vaccination -
Rs. 10000 minimum
Cleaning and other material - Rs. 8000.
This is the total monthly budget, Rs. 57,000, which increases often.Currently there are 43 dogs and cats living as a permanent resident. Beyond that, More than hundreds of dogs, cats, cows, birds are fed in a month.
