Though the Government of Telangana has taken initiative and various welfare measures to provide ration to daily wage labours, migrant workers yet there are 21000 plus mentally ill people, daily wage labours have been left uncared on the roadside of the city and none of them has the capacity to ask for help. They may be paranoid and hostile because of their conditions. Abhisti volunteers identified such mentally ill destitutes, people who cannot take care of themselves and people really are in need of food and serving them on daily basis. The Abhisti serving 600 to 800 meals a day for which approximately 15000 INR is required per day.
Abhisti is suffering from paucity of funds and ran out of all resources yet they decided to feed the needy as their aim is no one should go hungry. The volunteers of Abhisti contributed from their pockets, some of the volunteers donated half/one month salary and one of the lead donated two months salary. Mr. Vinil the founder has donated his 6 months salary for a noble cause.
Abhisti is the only NGO, which is bothered only about destitutes rather than promotional activities. It's our responsibility to help the most vulnerable amongst us in their time of need by supporting Abhisti Welfare Society. I hope for generous donations to Abhisti and request you to contribute whatever you can during crunch hour prevailing in country. As a fund raiser I am donating 5000 INR for their noble cause.
