Manav Mahamuni, 12 years male child studying in 6th standard in SVPM school at Kalwa. Manav is very active and famous in his school for dance and other activities. The people from his chawl also like Manav very much for dance in Ganpati Festivals and to play Garba in Navratri. Manav's father is an autorickshaw driver and mother is a housewife. The family resides in Mahatma Phule Nagar, Kalwa, Thane on rent in chawl. Family's financial condition is not good. Manav was frequently suffering from jaundice for the 4th time now before so one day the doctors made a suggestion to the family to get  USG of Abdomen and Pelvis done, so came to know that Manav is suffering from Kidney disease. After his Biochemistry report, they found that Manav's creatinine reached up to 13 and the normal range for Creatinine is 0.6 - 1.1 means creatinine increased 13.50 times than its higher level, so patient was on high risk. Manav is suffering end-stage Renal Disease and is on maintenance dialysis thrice in a week. He requires regular OPD follow-ups and Blood tests every month. Manav requires to undergo Renal Transplantation and the approximate cost for which is Rs 5-6 Lakhs.  
Manav's kidneys are small in size and show raised echogenicity. Corticomedullary differentiation is lost bilaterally. Right kidney measures 5.1 x 1.8 cms in size and Left kidney measures 5.0 x 2.7 cms in size. Manav is suffering from Bilateral Medical Renal Disease with CKD and Maintenance Haemodialysis. The Total expenses including Hospitalization and Medicines, Kidney Transplant is approximately Rs 5-6 Lakhs.
This patient's family is poor and requires financial assistance fora Kidney transplant as well as maintenance Haemodialysis on thrice in a week.
