While her chirpy sister has been playing around teasing all the adults passing around and stealing the show, Manasa was in the backdrop sitting calmly as if the contrast in their attitudes did not signify any blood relationship between them. Manasa was soon diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of blood cancer.
While the Govt of Andhra Pradesh's scheme Arogyasri covers up to 4 lakh, the family needs another 4 lakh to cover the expenses at private Hospital, Kurnool. Manasa's father is the sole bread earner with 3 daughters and earns 12,000 per month working in a textile wholesale shop locally. It takes 10 years for this family to save this amount and not even fate can recover them. For Manasa to get her sister's enthusiasm and grow with faith in society, she needs our help.
