Sibendra Deb Bhattacharjee, works as a security guard in a Salt lake- office. His daughter Jyotirmoyee Bhattacharjee is 14 years of age at present. When she was a small child, she fell off from her father's lap and when she started growing up, her left eye started becoming paralyzed. The doctor said, it is due to a head injury because of the fall. Now the paralysis is spreading throughout her face and body. Jyotirmoyee at present has already lost vision of her left eye. This situation can be made better by an operation whereby the further spread of paralysis can be arrested.She is undergoing treatment at L.V. Prasad Hospital in Hyderabad and the doctors are hopeful that the surgery can give Jyotirmoyee a life without paralysis. The cost of her entire medical procedure is INR 50,000, which her father is unable to bear as the salary of a security guard is too less for such an expense.
