2 years back in 2018, his right kidney had removed as that was full of cancer cells. After 6 months of the operation, it was found through a PET scan report that cancer cells have spread in his abdomen. As per the oncologist suggestions, he started oral chemotherapy (sunitinib- every day 37.5 mg ). There were numbers of side effects, the doctor told those will be temporary only. Mid-April 2021, he had severe diarrhoea for more than 2 weeks, stomach started swelling, not feeling to eat or drink anything, vomiting, Finally, his passing of urine n stools has stopped. We rushed to JIPMER emergency on 28 April, it was found after lots of examination that his another kidney got affected, some lungs issues, urine infection, wound in stomach and intestine, thyroid, low haemoglobin (6) and some kind of collections in 3 places in his body ( one in renal fossa, right lower abdomen and under his naval Lower near the panty lines). After 20 days of treatment, most of the things are improving positively, except some of the deposition, as per doctors examination, it may cause the cancer cells in his abdomen. They cannot cure it fully but they can minimise the deposition by aspirations from time to time. Now they are suggesting as soon as possible to start the treatment for cancer without wasting time. Due to covid risk inward doctor send him home with antibiotics that will manage the rest of issues. On 26th May we have to visit again JIPMER emergency for review, if things are all right, next-day has to get admit for chemotherapy in JIPMER RCC.
He needed to be undergone the chemotherapy as soon as possible. The approximate expenditure towards this treatment would be RS.1.5 per month and this should be continued on an average of 6-12 months. we need to raise fund for my husband's treatment expenditure. Please help us as you can.
