15-year-old Mamta is suffering from Sciatic Paralysis. It is the loss of control in one or more muscles within the body caused by extreme nerve damage. Proper treatment and a surgery and rehabilitation program are recommended to treat sciatic paralysis.

One year ago, Mamta experienced a sharp pain in one leg. Her father rushed her to the nearby clinic. They were shocked to know that Mamta was suffering from Sciatic paralysis as they had no money for food, and the treatment cost was beyond their reach.

Now Mamta cannot walk properly because of the nerve compression effect on her right leg. She needs support to walk and stand. She experiences a continuous sharp pain in her lower back, making it hard for her to sit for a long duration. When she tries to focus on something or study, a continuous liquid flows from her eyes, and she has headaches because of strain. She experiences burning, searing, and numbness in both of her legs. Therefore she needs immediate treatment before she becomes bedridden for life.

"My sister can't bend or sit on her own. She has her board exams coming, and she can't even study. Doctors recommended surgery costing lakhs and medications to improve her condition. But our small shop doesn't give enough returns to support our everyday expenses. What should we do?" Mamta's brother.

Mansa, Mamta's father, runs a small ration shop earning merely Rs 5000 per month. So far, he manages by closing and opening the shop as per his family situation as he has to take care of his children and do house chores. But he is worried about how he will manage if he has to sell this shop for Mamta's treatment one day. How will they survive? Moreover, Mansa is overburdened with responsibilities as Mamta's mother died in 2015.
